We met @oh.timo—a tattoo artist, illustrator, and graphic designer with a soft spot for freeform dance—at @filmfestlocarno, through the vibrant exchange space of @festival_basecamp. In the spirit of The Quiet Side and our ongoing exploration of duality, we had a conversation with him about movement, emotion, and energy.
For Timo, dancing is more than expression—it’s release. “It’s a super nice way to let go of energy,” he shares. “It fits every mood—whether you want to feel something or shift into a new one. It’s emotional. It flows with everything: music, meditation, or even partying with friends.”
His take on dance is intuitive and open—free of structure, but full of feeling. Whether slow or fast, inward or outward, dance becomes a way to connect with the moment and with yourself.
During our time together, Timo wore our Yosefa Bucket Hat—a staple from our core collection designed for ease and balance. Light, shaded, and effortlessly part of the rhythm.
The Quiet Side is about the spaces where we feel most like ourselves. For Timo, that space moves—and it moves with him.
